Week 7

Sep 29 – Oct 5, 2026

3 views channel-wide this week — the flattest week yet — and all three new uploads are still sitting at zero.

24 videos posted since launch. The title-framing test decided back in Week 4 is still pending — it posts Oct 7, just outside this window.

Three long-form uploads, including one carried over from last week's blind spot: "Why Your Brain Loves Unfinished Tasks" published Sep 28, right at Week 6's cutoff, and never made it into that log. It's getting its first mention here instead of being skipped.

The real thing — the lowest weekly total since launch

3 total views landed across all 24 videos this week, down from Week 6's 8 and Week 5's 5. All three of this week's uploads are at zero, and "Why You Assume a Confident Person Is a Competent Person" — flagged last week for sitting at zero despite real thumbnail impressions — is now three weeks old and still hasn't picked up a single view. That one's past the point of calling it a reporting lag.

⚠ Two Studio exports, pulled the same day, that don't agree

Two reports pulled today disagree with each other on numbers that should be identical. The Content table shows 233 lifetime views; the Traffic source table, same channel, same date range, shows 148. The daily breakdowns don't match either — Sep 6 shows 16 views in one and 4 in the other. The Traffic source table's thumbnail-impressions total (2,784) is also lower than the 2,985 already logged last week, which shouldn't be possible for a cumulative counter. Flagging this rather than quietly picking whichever number looked better — something about how Studio is aggregating these two reports isn't reconciling, and the impression/CTR figures below shouldn't be trusted until that's sorted out.

⏳ The title test hasn't run yet — it posts Oct 7

The video built to test the current "why does this happen" framing against an "aspirational, how-to" framing (two full title/description/thumbnail packages, same underlying script and visuals) is scheduled for Oct 7 — two days after this log. None of this week's data reflects it. It'll be the headline of Week 8 instead.

Full channel standings, as of today 24 videos posted, 233 total views all-time (Content table)
Thumbnail impressions and CTR not reported here — see the discrepancy flagged above Watch-time hours are omitted this week: this export's Content table dropped that column in favor of average view duration, and the only export with a watch-time figure (1.03 hrs) came from the Traffic source table whose view count doesn't match the Content table's. Didn't want to stitch two disagreeing reports into one number.
Coming up The title-test video posts Oct 7 — that's the real headline to watch for in Week 8. Also continuing to track whether "Why You Assume a Confident Person Is a Competent Person" ever gets a view, and sorting out why this week's two Studio exports don't agree before trusting impression/CTR data again.
